Linux Mint 17 Mate can not find my mobile broadband

Post by LennartL »

Hello! I have installed LinuxMint 17 Mate on a Packard Bell EasyNote TE69BM and have a mobile broadband ZTE MF 680TH
The question is why Linux Mint is not charging mobile broadband at the first startup? I have to reboot the computer once so LinuxMint will find the modem.
I have to do so each time.

Hi,

let's see what the system has identified as modem (make sure it is connected)
open terminal and copy paste this then paste the result back here:

Code: Select all

This is a picture when I start up in the first time.

Next picture is when I have restarted the computer.

As I can see it loads the modem even the first time.
But why cant I see it then?

screenshots are nice but don't help if I need to compare things
just use the mouse , highlight the output, right click and select copy, then paste it back here (sorry but I'm helping a lot of people as you may see on top of my normal job so please help me out)
Also I see usb3 so we may have to check more then just the lsusb output.
