Hi to all!
I'm just install Linux Mint 17 KDE (before use Linux Mint 15 KDE), and I have some problem with my Wi-Fi connection.
Problem in the following, stably every 1-2 minutes Ping jumps to 2000 ms. In principle, while surfing and watching videos on the Internet it is not noticeable, but in online games is wildly interfere.
As the router is used Asus RT-N10 rev. C1 firmware Wive_WR-150N-4.4.2.RU.26092013. In addition to switching off encryption ath9k.conf practical advice not met. Tried, did not help. On other machines at home have Windows 7, such problems are not observed.

Hi,
you could try namebench to check what the best settings would be (especially for pinging an address instead of an ip)
https://apps.ubuntu.com/cat/application ... namebench/ or check in package manager.
