Hello all!
I have recently dual booted Mint 17 (Cinnamon) along side Windows 7 in an attempt to start converting over to Linux. However, I have been having issues involving my wireless. It says that I am connected to my router with a fairly strong strength, but the internet does not work at all. No web pages are loaded, I can't access any repositories, etc. Sometimes it claims my router even goes out of range and the only way to fix it is to restart Mint. I am using a Realtek RTL8192CE Wireless Adapter. I assumed this was a driver issue and upon looking in the Driver Manager in Mint I saw the only driver listed was fgrlx. I've tried countless ways to install the driver including using Realtek's website, using this PPA: https://launchpad.net/~lexical/+archive ... e-wireless, and more. None of these have fixed the issue and I'm rather lost at this point. There is a chance that I may have preformed these steps wrong being new to Linux, but I closely followed the directions. Any help would be appreciated so I can start using Mint.

Also you can be checking the network status via the standard tcpi/ip tools or the alternate wireless version of the same process
