I know kernels that are 3.13, 3.14, 3.15 ans so on but 13 something? Or are you traveling back from the future :mrgreen:

Upps, updated kernel on Open Suse 13.1 to 3.12... Theses thing happen when your answering Forums posts while at 5 000 feet with a P38 on your tail in warthunder.

So the question is, would LM17 or Ubuntu 14.04 have worked with the 3.12 kernel- they both use kernel 3.13.0-24 when installed

probably as the kernel has the extensions already build in.

BTW prefered the back to future explanation 8)

Ok reinstalled Linux Mint 17 tried the wifi still No go. upgraded kernel to 3.14 , WIFI now working on Linux Mint as well ....
