Mint 16 Intel Pro 5100 No wireless issue Thinkpad T500

I have installed Mint 16 on to a Lenovo Thinkpad T500 and the Wireless does not work or at least is not functioning properly/at all. The laptop was a office computer that had Vista but was wiped for security reasons (Best thing for Vista IMO :lol: ).
Been looking around the forums for some solutions but nothing has worked thus far so now I make a formal request :)

Please note that Mint 16 will only be supported until July 2014 only. Consider upgrading to Mint 17 as it's an LTS.
