I need help with Pc cards

Hi,
I have a problem with networking my Linux Mint i have it on DVD I moved my computer so i have no Ethernet connection so i installed a pc card it the treadnet pc card. I installed drivers on windows and it works! i went on Mint and it syas no ethernet or wireless connections i need help if you need to ask a question about my computer right in the replies and ill try to tell

Basic specs:
OS : Windows XP
processor: Intel Pentium 4 dual core 3.2 ghz
Ram: 1 gb or 1024 mb
Os (for Linux Mint): Linux Mint 16 xfce
Pc card: treadnet TEW-421

BTW i think it just i dot have the driver installed how can i do that can i do get ndisgtk on windows put it on usb go to dvd and install there
