i'm running the lenovo here but Mate not cinammon.
I'm trying to set up a Motorola headset with bluetooth the computer is running lM 17 mate.
I don't know what else to say about it so ask me anything .

The Mint 17 Mate Release Notes state that bluetooth is not present at initial install. You can search for and install blueman via Synaptic Package Manager.

ok before i started this thread I downloaded bluedevil ...... should i get rid of that and do BlueMan instead ?

Bluedevil is for the KDE desktop. So it's fine if that is what you have. If not, yes, please remove it before you install Blueman.

ok i decided to install linux mint 17 cinnamon now instead of mate
I am wanting to get blue tooth setup. In the menu I find something with the Blue tooth logo but it comes up alll grayed out so there must be something else to setting it up. Can anyone help me wiht that ?
