OCR Software ?

hi,

i have scanned two documents and saved them as tiffs. Now i like to get them recognized.

what programm could i use ?

i ve tried kooka, but in the config it tells me, that there are no OCR binaries...

I use Bianca final

In synaptic you have gocr, clara. ocrad (and probably some more)

that was easy :
i installed gocr via synaptic and kooka now finds the binary and can use it :lol:

Good news for those who cannot compile YAGF source stuff - get the .deb file and run :wink:

(works on lucid as well as maverick system)
