light up, other than to blink which on this system indicates a battery voltage less than the required level. Plugging in the charger shuts down the LED, and
I've tried two different chargers, both of which give the same result. Per the HP forum's recommendation, I shut down, removed the battery, connected the charger, and then rebooted. The system booted and ran fine, which purportedly indicates a good mother board, which is where the charging circuit is. The battery is brand new, but I found the same behavior with the old battery. Is there some other package that I should check for, or ???
