IRC channel link to open it directly in XChat?
if i want help with kde they have a url which puts me in the right chanel for irc using xchat with 1 link why cant linux mint have this sort of link instead of instructions, the reason i ask is the xchat forgets everything so i have to do it from scratch everytime and this is inconvenient! kde irc link is so much better but they wont help with anything other than kde! any ideas?

After carefully taking my time to understand what you're saying, I agree on this small issue, the Contact page on the Mint website could indeed use a IRC link.
Even though the Konversation client on the KDE edition connects automatically to Mint's IRC channels...

Xchat in LM10 used to connect right to the LM channel.
