I am curious if anyone here has tried to play Street Fighter X Megaman? I have downloaded the free game from http://capcom-unity.com/mega_man and can get the game to work in Wine but I don't have any audio. I didn't have much luck at all in PlayOnLinux. I am using Linux Mint 17 MATE 32bit.
Here are my dumbed down specs:

Re: No sound in Street Fighter X Megaman in Wine
If you use PlayOnLinux, make sure to do a "manual installation"
This way you will be able to select a 32-bit virtual drive (wineprefix), the version of Wine you want and the libraries you want.
Are you using HDMI output for audio on that AMD card?
You may have to troubleshot the drivers and/or ALSA and Pulseaudio
It is very common for ALSA to be buggy with games because it doesn't support Pulseaudio
Also, try installing the library: dsound
I'm downloading right now to give it a go as well.
I'm on a Chromebook with Intel HD 2000 video chipset, but maybe it will work?

Re: No sound in Street Fighter X Megaman in Wine
The minimum system specs says "directsound" so I have a feeling the dsound library will fix it.
OS: Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7/Windows 8
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 2.0 GHz and up
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Graphics: DirectX 9.0c/Shader3.0 and up supported
(operation on-board is not guaranteed)
Video: NVIDIA GeForce 6600 and up,
VRAM: 256MB and up
Sound: DirectSound, DirectX9.0c Compatible Audio
Re: No sound in Street Fighter X Megaman in Wine
got it downloaded and launched it with PlayOnLinux using Wine 1.6.2
"dsound" didn't help but gave an error about not finding sound devices
I also got these errors in the debug

err:dmloader:IDirectMusicLoaderImpl_SetObject : could not attach stream to file
It runs really slow on my HD 2000 chipset. But I wonder if you are getting the same errors for sound?ALSA lib seq_hw.c:457:(snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: Permission denied
Re: No sound in Street Fighter X Megaman in Wine
Actually I am using the onboard sound on my motherboard hooked up to 5.1 surround sound but am only using 2.1 at the moment. I have a Gigabyte EP45T-UD3LR (Revision 1.0) mobo. According to the Gigabyte site it is using...
Audio
1. Realtek ALC888 codec
2. High Definition Audio
3. 2/4/5.1/7.1-channel
4. Support for S/PDIF In/Out
5. Support for CD In

Ok, let me try on my Mint desktop at home.
The audio didn't work on my Chromebook either.
