Only 1 workspace in Compiz cube?

Post by Anubisone »

I installed LM12 LXDE. In cairo dock switcher I see 4 workspaces, after I launch Compiz, I se in the switcher 16 workspaces, but when I use "Ctrl+Alt+LeftMouseButton" combination I see only one desktop, there is cube, but consisting only from one desktop, the others aren't visible at all.

Ps. I set in all places I could workspaces to 4.

Can someone help me please?

Compiz does not call the faces of the cube workspaces, and it overrides your display manager's workspaces. Instead it refers to them as desktops. In Compiz settings (If you have fusion-icon in your dock, right click and select settings), look under the General section at "General Options". In the last tab you most likely have "Horizontal Virtual Size" set to one. That is the number of desktops, or faces of the cube, Compiz will draw. Set that to four to get a desktop cube.
