A perfect theme for Cinnamon ?

There is a beautiful dark theme on Noobslab and Gnome-look called "Vertex-Dark" which I found gorgeous and possibly a default dark theme for Cinnamon. I don't like that much the white icons and prefer this icon set called "Ivy". Strangely I haven't found that icon set anywhere separate. It is included in the Numix-blue theme on gnome-look. It fit perfectly dark themes.

Enter these commands in your terminal:

cd ~/Downloads

wget -c http://download2.mediafire.com/md2uuvs6hamg/rytruumm7vnvln7/Numix-Blue-Flat.tar.gz

When the download is complete, open your Downloads folder in your file manager, and right-click on the downloaded file ( Numix-Blue-Flat.tar.gz ) > Extract here. It will create a folder named Numix-Blue-Flat
Then in a terminal:

mkdir  ~/.icons

Code: Select all

mv  ~/Downloads/Numix-Blue-Flat  ~/.icons/

Then right-click on the Panel > Themes > Icons > chose Numix-Blue-Flat

Thanks man, that should help people. Can you please check your archive, it seems to be corrupted.

Ok numix-blue-flat is not the same icons set but if people prefer it, it's fine. I don't like it because the Vertex theme is 3D, so Ivy feel more appropriate.

If anyone is interested, there is this updated blue icon set which works nicely with the dark Vertex theme. It's more elaborate than Ivy.

The font is called cuprum. As for the icons set, I am sure you can recognized it. I don't think Bill will like it if I post a link here but it's on "gnome-look.org" under the windows "XX" transformation pack.
