Yesterday I installed x265 gstreamer plugin I wasnt sure about which version gstreamer i have so i installed for 1.0. aptitude told me to autoremove some packages which was phonon I removed them 4-5 packages in total. Today when i login to system I got no wallpaper (sometimes it is drawn) no bottom bar. File manager and open / save dialogs are all black.
Please help

I am actually not sure whether it is the same issue, but I've got something looks similar yesterday. I uninstalled one of bluetooth packets and lost "cinnamon" package altogether. I reinstalled "cinnamon" and my desktop is back.
