Hi!
Did several benches and my scores are always lower than they should be. Testing Xonotic 0.8 I get 217 fps. Others get 280+ with same gpu. Other benches give equal results, the gpu should perform much better.
I'm using linux mint cinnamon 17.3 x64, fullscreen compositing in options is off. Tried with different nvidia-settings but no difference. Is there a "magical" setting I didn't find in linux?
Nvidia driver 361.18, Xorg 1.15, Kernel 4.4.0. It's a GTX 970 and overclocked. Tried with stock values, checked temps and so on, nothing changed and still low fps.
Shouldn't the compositing option be set through Xorg.conf? Read something about, but there aren't any options set in my Xorg.conf. Where is the fullscreen compositing "feature" set? Is there another config in Mint?
Any suggestions?
