Post by gto52 »

I removed an old hard drive from pc and rebooted to find icons and windows have changed.
Icons seem to look like Opensuse, not sure how to rectify this?

Hi gto52,

Do the GNOME style icons remain after a system restart?

If yes, try a different theme in System Settings, then switch back to Mint theme.

If still not working, open your Home folder (make sure hidden files are visible using Ctrl+H, or folder View menu Show Hidden Files) and try temporarily renaming .config to .configbk, then logout and back in. This will reset all custom settings back to defaults.

After you have finished your tests, you can delete the new .config folder, and then change .configbk back to .config

David

Edit: Fix typo
