Hello, I find dark windows much easier on my eyes.
How can I change the background to windows to be dark? Not just the title bar/buttons.
I'm using Cinnamon 2.6.13 with Mint 17.2. Thanks

Re: Make background of all windows dark
Updating in case this helps anyone.
First, download the gtk theme you want to install. (Not a cinnamon theme!). Next, in terminal, type:
This installs the theme into the gtk themes folder. Now, open the "Themes" setting in Cinnamon. Change the "Controls" theme to the one you just installed.
Voila! Now you can code at night without plucking your eyeballs out. Mix with redshift or yellow glasses, and reduce brightness, and your eyes will thank you.
