[SOLVED] (2.6.11) Skype taskbar flashing then stopping?
I think something got changed in the way Cinnamon handles windows demanding attention. Now the taskbar title flashes a few times then any indication that the window has new messages disappears and it returns to normal. I would like it to stay highlighted until I read the messages. In previous Cinnamon versions I would use this guide to recover the behavior I want but it's not working anymore. Any tips here?

The issue still persists in 2.6.13. And Skye not the only one impacted. Numerous chat programs can't draw attention when needed. For example IBM Sametime.

This has been fixed on version 2.8.6. Source.
