Solid Black Screensaver on 17.1 Cinnamon?
I just installed Mint 17.1 with Cinnamon. I would like to set up a static, solid black screensaver but I cannot find any screensaver settings. Cyber space seems to disagree whether or not they exist in Cinnamon. Advice is appreciated.

Simply set turning off the monitor at the same time, when the screensaver starts (or even earlier). You find the settings in the power management settings. Result: black as black can be.
