When in nemo and checking the properties of an image file there is a tab *Image* that shows the type, width, and height.
Is there any way to get a similar feature for audio and video files? For instance, audio tab would show bitrate, length, codec, etc.

Oh geese, I just found my old thread a few pages into my search. There's a nemo extension called nemo-media-columns that will do this. Sorry guys!

Should do it! In the Software Manager. This should be an essential thing to do after installing Mint.
But this is for Cinnamon, not Mate which is what I have.

nemo-media-columns only adds information when in list view, not to the properties tab. I'm open to suggestions as to how to add these to nemo. I've noticed Nautilus has this feature, can I somehow transfer it over?
