Commenting on Cinnamon Spices

Post by Redsandro »

How come there are recent comments on Cinnamon Applets, but I cannot sign in or register?
Also, how can one contact an author? Clicking their name just shows an avatar.

I have some Applets on my UHD monitor, but even though Cinnamon is in HD-mode, the Applets don't scale with the rest of the system so they are micro. Clicking 'preferences' does nothing. Perhaps something is broken.

Are you talking about http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/ ? What exactly do you see when you try to login/register? I just tried registering by clicking on the top right corner and I didn't have a problem. And just for reference, what's the applet you're trying to comment on?

As for applet scaling, you could try going to settings > panel, and you could play a little with the settings under "size options" to see if that helps.

Oh NOW it works!

When I made this topic, I was redirected to a wordpress page saying "registrations are disabled at this time." I had the same message when I tried a year ago.

I really like this Applet, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be in development.

No, the panel size is automatically handled by the system. It is double the size on UHD monitors. There is no problem. :)
The problem is that this particular applet stays the same size. On UHD monitors, this is effectively half the size. I.e. microscopic.
