Hey all,
as soon as I log in cinnamon crashes.
I'm running the latest version of Linux Mint Cinnamon Edition on a pc with the following specs:
AMD 8320
NVIDIA GTX 960
RAM 8GB
What I find peculiar ist that the Driver manager doesn't offer any options for GPU drivers, in fact it shows nothing at all. I installed the package nvidia-current, so it should at list show that I installed nvidia-304, right?
I would appreciate any input and advice on how to get cinnamon running.

The nvidia-304 is far too old for your very new Nvidia card. I advise to remove the nvidia-304, reboot and then install the latest Nvidia driver (nvidia-349) with the help of the mamarley PPA:
