I'd like to be able to configure my laptop's suspend behaviour depending on whether an external HDMI display is configured. I'd like my laptop to suspend when the lid is closed without an HDMI connection, but when the HDMI connection is active, I'd like the laptop lid close to be ignored (i.e. the display is still rendered on the external display). I can't see a way of doing this in the GUI, and I don't have enough knowledge of configuration files/bash to pull this off myself! Please can I have some guidance?
I'm running Mint 17 Cinnamon (x64), and my laptop is an Acer laptop with Nvidia Optimus (GT630M, CPU is an i5-2515E)

Can anyone point me in the direction of the appropriate config files?
