Can't add downloaded desklets

Hello,

I 'cleaned up' my fresh installation and now I can't add downloaded desklets. Can't figure out what's going wrong.
The preinstalled desklets work.

I'm also having a issue with some desklets, the network usage monitor wont work.

Maybe some of those glade packages are missing. Got only one libglade-something installed.
Can anyone post?:

The problem has nothing to do with libglade. The binary clock desklet seems to be broken as reported in the comments here: http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/desklets/view/4

Make sure you read the comments for the network usage monitor and have what you need installed: http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/desklets/view/15

The xlets that come from the spices sites are done by 3rd party developers and there is no guarantee that they are maintained or kept up to date with the current cinnamon version.
When I give opinions, they are my own. Not necessarily those of any other Linux Mint developer or the Linux Mint project as a whole.
