Im trying to open a simultaneous session in my Linux Mint 17.1 64 bits with cinnamon, I would like it to work as a virtual machine, but I don't want to access another system, I want to access my own system, I want to work with two users at the same time.
Unless someone have a better suggestion Im trying to use Xephyr.
So. I installed xephyr, a ssh server and lightdm, enabled xdmcp in lightdm and it worked (for a while).
Doing this:
Xephyr :1 -ac -screen 1024x768 -br -reset -terminate -query MYMACHINE
Used to open a window starting lightdm and I was able to login with another user with a full cinnamon session.
By some reason it stopped working, I don't know if it was after I updated something or what. Now lightdm appears, the screen flickers trying to load cinnamon and it ends up saying "Cinnamon just crashed you are currently running in Fallback Mode." and asks if I want to try again.
The user account works if I log in normally, only don't work inside Xephyr anymore.
Any suggestions?
Regards.

Re: Making Xephyr work with Cinnamon
Answering my own question.
Cinnamon seems to crash inside Xephyr when using the Intel Linux Graphics Driver, so I uninstalled it using this page as reference:
