ATM; middle-wheel-click closes the running program your cursor is over on the taskbar.
I want to for example; open Firefox normally --then-- put my mouse cursor over the running instance of Firefox on the taskbar --then-- middle-wheel-click --then-- a NEW second instance of Firefox opens up.
How to do that?
Make middle-wheel-click open new instance of a running prog?

Re: Make middle-wheel-click open new instance of a running p
To my knowledge this is not possible.
But you can add the FF-extension firetray, which allows you to use mouse-gestures for most commands - opening and closing FF-windows inclusive.

Right click on a program icon in taskbar. Then click preferences -> configure.
Locate "Middle click action". Change it to "Launch new app instance".
This will allow you to use the mouse wheel click to open a new instance of the app instead of the default closing the app.
