NEMO File Manager HISTORY

Post by chalao_adda »

Hello All,

I am using Nemo as my file manager in my Linux Mint 17 64-bit laptop. It
is a nice file manager with most of the necessary features. But I cannot
find any "History" feature there. So I have to go to any previous
location, by starting from the root again.
Is this "History" feature there somewhere in the preference?
Please help.

Thanks.

Nemo works the same as my Chrome browser. Right-click on the Back arrow shows the history.

I want to ask something too.

I access my server many times through VPN, and every time I have to type

smb://IP

Can't resolve the name, but it is ok. But even if it find the name it is tedious.

I searched but couldn't find a why to quickly access my most recent locations like Explorer.

Would be easier to fast access most used locations.

Any help?

Access your server, and then create a Bookmark.
