[SOLVED] borderless windows

Is there a way to remove the window borders/decorations including the title bar irrespective of whether it is maximised or not?
I'm using the cinnamon desktop environment.

even if you change the screen resolution, the border windows is still there,

so - probably not able to remove / hide it completely.

I've been using the "Cinnamon Maximus" extension. Its works fine.
