Hello, please excuse me, if I posted this to the wrong place.
I installed Mint 17.1 Cinnamon on a laptop with AMD graphic (RS600M, Radeon Xpress 1250).
There is a problem with the display of text in the main menu and the panel/taskbar, also the tooltips and the clock.
See attachment. I changed the fonts from "Noto Sans" to "Sans" but there was no improvement.
Help! I have no idea where to starts looking or tweaking:
P.S.: It looks equally bad in the live versions of 17 and 17.1

I also have this problem after suspending my system. I use Cinnamon too--both 2.4(Rebecca) and 2.0 (LMDE).
