strange issue

The icon theme you are using is either incomplete, corrupted, or isn't compatible with Cinnamon . .

Maybe, but i haven't done anything. This is right after the installation process.

Try changing the icon theme, that looks like the default gnome.

Try checking under your /usr/share/icons folder and see if all the icons are there?
What icon set are you using?
