Bottom toolbar going blank

Running "Qiana" - Cinnamon (64-bit) on a Samsung NP RZ30 laptop.

My bottom toolbar keeps going blank for no apparent reason. Can't read the menu when this happens either.

I'm no expert but maybe try the following?

Code: Select all

gsettings reset-recursively org.cinnamon

and

Code: Select all

cinnamon --replace

then

Code: Select all

cinnamon --reset

If this is a fresh install maybe doing a re-install would be easier?
