I'm using Linux Mint 17 with Cinnamon and whenever i click the middle mouse button on the title bar of a window it goes to the background bringing every other open window in foreground. I use Chrome as a browser and whenever I close a tab this behavior gets in the way making me practically unable to browse unless the only open window on my desktop is Chrome itself. I tried searching how to disable this feature and found this but, even though i set "Action on Title Bar Middle-Click" to "None", it still happens.
I also tried installing gconf-editor and going to /desktop/cinnamon/windows/edge_tiling to set it to false but the entry didn't exist. I tried creating it and rebooting but nothing changed.
Has anyone had this same problem before? Are there any known solutions?

apparently it's a known issue (after i disabled it from the options i realized it was only still happening on chrome): https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issu ... ?id=132061
i don't know if at this point the thread should be closed or marked as solved, since i don't think i have either power i'll leave it to a mod.
