Could someone tell me how to switch between windows minimising to the centre, and left of the panel bar?
Somehow I've managed to change it to the centre position (not the end of the world) but would like to know how to change it back.
many thanks in advance

Re: Windows minimising to centre of panel
I agree, it's very frustrating - not the end of the world, but annoying. On the other hand, it is easy to fix, once you know what causes it.
If you right-click on the panel, and turn the panel edit mode on, you'll see it divides into 3 sections. Anything in the middle section is centred, whereas anything in the left-hand section is left-justified. If you move the window list applet into the left-hand section, programs should then minimise to the left.
I hope that solves the problem for you.
