Hello,
I am having issues installing themes in Cinnamon. I am using LM17 Cinnamon edition. All the google searches etc, show earlier versions of LM and it appears different. I went to the http://cinnamon-spices.linuxmint.com/themes and want to install the VOID theme, but after downloading and extracting I am still unable to use this theme.
Can someone please explain the steps or point me in the right direction to get these installed?

The usage of Cinnamon themes is detailed in this tutorial.

The significant factor is that for you to use Cinnamon themes in Mint 17, they have to be updated for Cinnamon 2.0 at minimum. Updated for Cinnamon 2.2 is better.
Themes created for Cinnamon 1.8 will not work well.
