how to set login panel to a specific monitor

Post by Morado »

im trying to set the loging / lock /screensaver to the 2nd monitor. the 1st monitor (Primary) takes some time to power on its a very nice ips panel. if i walk away it shuts off after 30 min :) i forget these things. so the login is SOME some times on monitor 2 and it is a very fast to wake but smaller monitor sas a 2nd screen. so how do i set the login to only show up on the second screen ore on both screens the monitors are not cloned. but sometimes its on the prmary monitor and its turned off or takes 4-15sec to turn on or wake from sleep. i like to see the password login screen on my second monitor please.
this is my fist post so im tryings to do this rigth

Haven't tried it myself but check out the below extensions.

There is a long pending issue on this feature and you can kill time there by reading the long discussion. :wink

On lock screen appearance, looks like it appears where the mouse is.
https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/issues/3282

Browsing through the github would give you details on many issues. There is a good chance that someone is facing the same issue and has logged the details.
