Re: Running in software rendering mode
pretty new system, you will have to try the beta drivers for this card.

Re: Running in software rendering mode
Thank you , very useful this link.
In fact I tried before to install the AMD Catalyst Control Center but I did not find the right process.
With your link it worked
Now I can see videos without a CPU at 70 Celsius, only 45.
I should write I could , no I can, because when I restarted my laptop I got another problem. I got a black screen.
I ran the recovery option but it stay frozen and I get this messages: Starting load fallback Graphic devices
I am not sure there is a link between this issue and the AMD Catalyst Control Center.
Cordially

Re: Running in software rendering mode
Well , I did not know how to solve the graphic issue and I made some voodoo around the laptop and this morning he started without any problem.
Thank you I don´t get anymore the warning message Running in software rendering mode and the laptop doesn't overheat.
I checked the driver manager and still the same drivers than before.
Should I choose the recommended option ? Or stay on using manually installed drivers ?
Here the driver manager screen shot : https://docs.google.com/document/d/10iz ... sp=sharing

Re: Running in software rendering mode
thats' the new driver, the first time you rebooted you probably didn't have the xorg.conf but then the driver corrected it and now it works as expected.

Re: (Solved) Running in software rendering mode
Thank you very much that works perfectly (Watching a video Temperature falls from 70c to 42c)
Regarding drivers , I keep in the driver manager the option : continue using a manually installed driver instead to select Xserver-xorg-video-ati (recommended)
Right ?
