Some Cinnamon Themes push fullscreen windows below Menu Bar

Post by EvilSupahFly »

It's not a MAJOR issue. It's more of an annoyance. But some themes (like any of the DeLorean derivatives) take fullscreen windows (such as webbrowser, maxed) and extend them below the menu bar, and I was wondering if anybody knew how to fix that. See the screenshots for clarification, if required.

For example, using CloveBlack:

And this is the bottom of my Firefox window, below and behind the menu bar:

But when I change to DarkCold:

You can see that the Firefox window is on top of the menu bar:

Does anybody know how I go about tweaking this so that my themes are all consistent?

Running Ubuntu 14.04, converted to LM17, with Cinnamon 2.2.16.

You can see the cause of the problem on this page:
https://github.com/mordant23/cinnamon-theme-clove-black
"Clove-Black is compatible with Cinnamon 2.0"
While running DarkCold, open your log file viewer, then switch to Clove-Black. You will see GTK errors in the log file viewer, showing you that the Cinnamon 2.0 theme won't work right in Cinnamon 2.2
