Keep window content until closing animation completed

Post by anorax »

I would have guessed that this would have been brought up before but I've found nothing so far:

It's certainly not very essential to the function of the WM but IF you're using any of the "eye candy" effects you might as well think about this: When setting an animation for closing windows in Cinnamon (which by default is not the case), I noticed that most of the time the window content disappears prior to the closing animation being carried out with just the 'bare window frame' (see example at http://bit.ly/1h7FSHN). Of course, this is no big thing, but still it would be nice if it would behave more like Windows or, say, Unity, where if you close a window, it fades, swishes or flies out while still showing the contents of it.

Anyone else who noticed this?

Greetings,

It's been a few days. Still no one apart from myself who finds this annoying? :D
