I have Linux Mint 12 with MATE and Compiz, on a desktop that I don't use that much for now.
However, I'd love to update it, and to be able to use Cinnamon if it could do one great thing that Compiz can do... make any arbitrary window negative color.
I love that feature, and would love to see it available by default in new systems, without me having to jump through hoops to graft Compiz back on.
Has anyone worked on this, or would anyone?
Thanks ahead of time!
Negative Window extension like in Compiz?

Re: Negative Window extension like in Compiz?
I am looking for the same thing. The current version is ”Linux Mint Rebecca 17.1”, while the question was asked back in v12 and there is still no feedback.
Is there an obvious answer that I am missing? Or is such a feature not available?
