Using LM201303. Just replaced w7 on a Dell Inspirion with LM. No going back.
Default size is just too small. Mostly it's the panel. I can't find where to adjust the size of the icons and the font in the panel. Adjusting the size of the panel does not change the size of the icons in the panel. (right-clicking on panel does not re-size icons)
The desktop icons & fonts are also too small. How can I make these larger?

Re: resizing icons in panel & desktop, HOW?
Set the font size with the fonts setting Text scaling factor.
or
in dconf-editor
or
mouse cursor size
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface cursor-size 44
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface text-scaling-factor=1.8
I am sure I set the icon size with something like
gsettings set org.nemo.iconview thumbnail-size 128
I'll try and remember and update this when I find it.
There is another setting somewhere that forces a dpi value and I set this to 175 (although I think that may have been in XFCE)
hope that helps a bit Greg

Re: resizing icons in panel & desktop, HOW?
Thanks, that was helpful. I also found another checkbox in the panel settings.

gsettings set org.nemo.iconview thumbnail-size 128
does not work: No such schema 'org.nemo.iconview'
With linuxmint-17.1-cinnamon-64bit
any other way to resize icons?
