Hi guys, playing Source games through Steam on WINE (Black Mesa Source!) but The Cinnamon taskbar stays on top of the game, I had a look through Cinnamon Settings and searched this forum but couldn't find anything to get it to hide.
It sometimes happens in full screen Youtube videos too where the taskbar stays over the video, but I can right-click to get rid of it there.
Mint 13, Cinnamon version 1.6.
Thanks.

Re: Taskbar always on top?
My taskbar started to do the same thing in fullscreen Youtube videos. It wasn't like that after a fresh install, but I can't really say when it became like that.

Maybe this problem has been fixed for Firefox flash videos: https://github.com/linuxmint/Cinnamon/blob/master/NEWS
Re: Taskbar always on top?
I'm having this issue as well. Happens with almost every full screen video format.
Have not tried a clean install yet.

Re: Taskbar always on top?
Without digging too deep I found a quick work around and that's to turn on the panel 'Auto Hide' feature.
The panel is just a window at it's core so there has to be a way to disable the 'Always On Top' behavior.
If I have time I'll dig through the code and submit a patch to expose that setting in the Panel Settings configuration.
