How can i remember windows size in linux mint 17.1 mate?
all windows that i open, opens in some default size, how can i change this size?
i go to menu edit -> parameters - but not found this setting

You'd have to use an additional program to achieve something similar. You can use devilspie2 to set window rules, like setting the main window of a program upon launch to a specific size, location, or workspace. MATE itself has no functionality for this. If that is really important to you, KDE has full native support for that so may be a desktop environment you could prefer.
