How to group applications on the MATE panel?

Post by avinash512 »

Hi Minters,

I am trying to group multiple application windows on linux mate panel, but found no solution.

Meaning say I opened 3 file management window. I want to see them grouped in one on panel.

How to do that?

Thanks,
Avi

I beleive there is an Applet which you can add to the panel to do this. Right click the panel and you should see a selection "Add Applets" or similar, I use Cinnamon so I do not see the exact wording, but I beleive Mate can do the same.

Right-click on the left edge of the window list applet on the panel (where you see the three short horizontal lines) and then click on "Preferences"...

Return to “MATE”
