Mate - Weather Temp. never changes
I have installed Mint 17 Mate. The weather applet shows the same temperature always. Any idea how to fix this?

This is probably a silly question to ask, but did you set a location? Right click on it, Preferences -> Locations tab.

Not sure yet but it sounds like something with NTP (network time protocol). Take a look at this link, specifically the last post on the first page of it where it says "How to enable Automatic Time Synchronization". Make sure NTP is installed first, it should be by default I think. http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1596271
