I don't want to bork anything , but not liking the changes since adding KDE..
I'm hoping you'll tell me I can just remove KDE via synaptic and all will be back to as it was before..
Is Maya 13 LTS MATE ??

I went ahead and removed all the installed KDE items with synaptic, applied that action, and then went to the Mate section there and selected all and applied it.
so far all works great and back to the original look... nothing is broken.. yeahhh
Not sure why but the browser fonts using KDE seemed rough and choppy hard on my eyes..some other distros are the same way, one of my main prefs is decent fonts on browsers/ online - I have tried many distros searching for smooth looking fonts that are easy on my eyes..
The Mint Maya LTS does well.
so far all works great and back to the original look... nothing is broken.. yeahhh
