Hello, all.
I recently acquired compiz on MATE 16, enabling the (awesome) Desktop Cube and wobbly windows. Everything works fine after following this tutorial: http://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/1298
But the only problem is that every time I reboot, the plugins I enabled previously all seem to have been reset (i.e., Destkop Cube and Wobbly windows are unchecked). Then I have to go back and remark the checkboxes every time to reenable these effects, which is really a pain in the butt.
Can somebody help me with this?
Thanks.

Re: CCSM settings reset itself on boot
(replying to myself, **tsk, tsk**, what same, what desperation)
hint, hint, **wink wink**
Anyhoo, lets get down to business.
Not only do the Compizconfig-settings reset itself after boot, it also resets itself every time I even OPEN Compiz-config...
Given this, is there some funky (nifty) file in the /home/username/.compiz/ directory that I should modify?
Or is there something that I need to install???
Or uninstalling???
Please help **wink wink**
Thanks **wink winkle wink**

Re: CCSM settings reset itself on boot
Sounds like the same bug as in this thread:

Check out if the solution works for you as well, but read the whole thread first because it has some side-effects.
