[SOLVED] Only some desktop icons missing

I checked all 5 icons to appear on the desktop
Funny thing is Computer and Home do not show up
The others, Trash, Mounted volumes and Network do

I tried nemo -q and then starting nemo up again - no joy
I just get the same three back again

Any ideas

?????????

In the configuration center under desktop settings you can select or unselect these.
In my testvm they then immediately turn on or off.
That doesn't work for you?

It only works for the bottom three

Maybe they are just off the top of the screen. You could try creating a new user, logging off as current user and then logging back in as
the new user.

This might be similar to the issue I had in Cinnamon.
