Hello everyone! Yesterday I finally shifted my desktop OS from Windows 7 Pro to Linux Mint 17 "MATE". My PC is currently up and running for four long years until last week where BSoD destroyed my silence. I've already done most of the necessary fix in solving Windows BSOD's, but to no avail none of them worked for me . So last night I decided to fully install Linux Mint on my system and surprisingly it works far better from what I've expected, because I suspected my RAM as the main culprit of BSOD's (Though it did pass without errors using memtest.) and it would probably won't work well even with other OS installed on my PC. But it turns out as a fully refurbished system and everything works great as before.
I've have been using numerous Linux distros before, by means of recovering files from a non-bootable system but not as a default OS for my personal use, not until now. The experience is really is amazing, especially how fast and how intuitive the search feature works. I cannot really enumerate all the good stuffs that can be found inside the Linux Mint because its just too many to mention
I am extremely satisfied and I hope to have a long journey with Linux Mint and I am also looking forward for this community because I may (certainly) ask for assistance anytime soon since I am no expert when it comes to Linux systems.
Thanks!
