I tried and can confirm what turboflame just said, if you keep all your stuff in 1 partition, it works, I reinstalled again, used the same user name and password but this time I kept / and /home on the same partition and it works.... I would like it lots better if I could keep a separate /home like ...

I also have that issue, chksum for the live dvd is okay, but I can't seem to login, reinstalled it twice with same result, Tried login in recovery mode, worked well at first, I created a second user with adduser, logged with it, but after a while the password didn't even work to do updates and I cou...

That does not work with mine... As soon as I press the reset to default button, the bad one reappears and the good one disappears :( In my case they are 2 different layouts of Canadian keyboard, I want to use Canada Multilingual (because I need all those weird é à â characters to be easily available...

So far I like it very much and I feel an interesting future coming up - seeing how the system deals with the numerous updates from the Debian testing repos and so on. I really hope that Clem and the other Mint-developers will continue with LMDE. It is worth it!! Maybe a 64-bit version would be cool...

Wow! simply the best linux distro I've ever tried! Just finished installing it on my main computer after trying it all day, no bug whatsoever so far.
