@tinca, i am trying to set it up using wine as per directions in a guide at the folding forums. I do recall reading that a linux gpu client was in the works.

i thought there was a folding at home sub forum but cant seem to find it. I have inquired about this also. It worked on an earlier version of ubuntu (6 or 7) , right out of the box with no loss of desktop icons or functions. I found it very convenient, I consider it a great tool. Having a wallpaper related to what i was working on for each desktop makes switching desktops...

i had the same trouble, finally read somewhere that the vb version for ubuntu intrepid would work, sure enough did , i think i got it from the vb site maybe unbuntu forums. good luck, i tried for over a month until i got vb working.

I don't think you czn put more than one .iso file on a DVD. How would you get to the second file to boot it? hmmm.....i guess browsing and picking the .iso i want would not work? dunno , i haven't done many iso or dvds for that matter. i think i will have to try and see what happens. another questi...
